This article proposes a methodological reflection based on the analysis of a set of videos of class situations. The analysis of these class situations, during the teaching of physics sequence at the secondary school level, is based on the joint action suggested by comparative didactics, which leads us to use knowledge as the entry point for analysing the set of videos. In order to make sense of the complexity of a class, several scales of time and of the detail of knowledge were used ; this led to different ways of structuring and categorizing at the macroscopic, mesoscopic, and microscopic levels and to their various articulations.
