The moment Franch firms' competitivity in Foreign markets provoke numerous discussions, I.N.S.E.E. has undertaken with Federal Statistical Agency of West Germany (Statistisches Bundesamt) a comparison of operating and work productivity charges in both countries with respect to 1967. The survey is limited by the kind and the number of charges compared, and by the number of sectors which are examined and amount to seven. It allows pointing out that intermediary consumptions and staff expenses represented in both countries practically the same proportion of production value.
