Several Britain regions are interested in the economic effects of the oil and gas prospection and production in the North Sea : the Shetland and Orkney islands, the country of Aberdeen, where is the Saint Fergus gas terminal, which treats the gas of Frigg, the region of Teesside which receives oil and gas from Ekofisk, the East-Anglia which takes advantage of Southern North Sea natural gas layers.
