L'évolution pluviométrique récente de la Grande-Côte du Sénégal et de l'archipel du Cap-Vert / The recent evolution of rainfall in the Grande-Côte region of Senegal and the Cap-Vert archipelago

The Grande-Côte of Senegal and the Cap-Vert archipelago respond to common dynamic conditions, receiving both winter rainfall and, above all, summer precipitation brought by squall lines and cyclonic depressions. The recent climate change is characterized by a significant modification of numerous meteorological variables. Rainfall has been the most affected, experiencing a substantial reduction. The deterioration in precipitation levels has been particularly dramatic in the Sahel region, and has disadvantaged above all the Cap-Vert archipelago, despite its maritime situation.La Grande-Côte du Sénégal et de l'archipel du Cap-Vert obéissent à des conditions dynamiques communes et reçoivent des précipitations hivernales, mais surtout estivales apportées par des lignes de grains ou des perturbations cycloniques. L'évolution climatique récente se caractérise par une modification significative de nombreux paramètres météorologiques. Parmi eux la pluviométrie apparaît à travers sa forte diminution comme l'élément le plus affecté. La péjoration pluviométrique se manifeste de manière dramatique sur la bande sahélienne, et elle pénalise de façon plus sévère l'archipel du Cap-Vert, en dépit de sa situation océanique.Sagna Pascal.
