La Plage de + 52 m et son Acheuléen à Ras Beyrouth et à l'Ouadi Aabet (Liban)

Flint artifacts of the Middle Acheulean have been found in a marine beach located at +52 metres in the Wali Aabet and at Ras Beirut in the Lebanon. This beach presumably dates from the first half of the Mindel-Riss. Correlations have been made with other prehistoric sites of the Near East and particularly with Latamne in Syria.A l'Ouadi Aabet et à Ras Beyrouth, au Liban, des silex taillés de l'Acheuléen moyen ont été trouvés dans une plage marine située à + 52 mètres que l'on peut dater de la première moitié du Mindel-Riss.
