Securing our resources, both critical infrastructure and personnel, is a vital part of Kentucky Homeland Security. With this in mind, Western Kentucky University’s Applied Physics Institute, in conjunction with Electronic Warfare Associates of Bowling Green, KY, has developed a biometric fingerprint access system. The system is unique in that it is client/server based and each person’s biometric will be replicated to each entrance system using a distributed database system.
