Industrial photocatalysis applications requires further research to control and design photocatalytic reactors. The micro structuring of reactors is an innovative solution. It increases the catalytic efficiency by improving the contact of the pollutant with the catalyst. Thesis aim concerned the destruction of a model pollutant, salicylic acid, with deposited catalyst (TiO2) at the bottom of a microchannel. The research is based on experiments and simulations to predict the photocatalytic degradation for a given reactor configuration.
