VOCs are a source of discomfort for occupants and can have harmful effects on health. Photocatalysis is a promising process to remove these compounds. ArcelorMittal Liège Research has indeed developed TiOB2 Bthin film coated on steel which can be easily integrated into purification air systems. Objectives of this research are firstly, identifying parameters which influence the photocatalytic degradation of these VOCs using of such catalyst. Secondly, validate the possibility to predict performances of the photocatalytic reactor by combining fluid flow and photocatalytic reaction.
