The "Vereins-Mitteilungen" ("association newsletter") served the Jewish religious, women’s and youth associations of Friedenau, Steglitz and the surrounding areas of Berlin’s southwestern suburbs. In volume 2, number 8 (October 1923), the newsletter reported that membership to the religious community in the southwestern suburban area had increased to a "so ansehnlichen Höhe, wie nie zuvor" ("such a considerable amount, like never before") and the association strove to bring the Jewish residents in the district together in a "festen religiösen Einheit" ("strong religious unity").
