Increased frequency of cells recognizing HLA-E/BZLF1 by CD8^bright cells in MS-RR patients.

<p>(A) Mononuclear cells from HC, MS-RR, and MS-PP were incubated with tetramers of HLA-E/A2 and HLA-E/BZLF1 and anti-CD8 antibody. Tetramer positive cells are expressed as percentage of cells binding the tetramer within the lymphogate for CD8 total, CD8^bright, and CD8^dim cells. Mean ± SEM is indicated (B) The frequency of tetramer positive cells are expressed as a fraction of the indicated CD8 subset to correct for altered number of CD8⁺ cells between the groups. SEM is indicated on the top of the bars. Comparisons are done using Mann-Whitney U-test.
