<p>An anti-GFP antibody was used in combination to correctly identify GFP⁺ cells due to autofluorescence in the sections. In the merged image, the white dashed line indicates the endosteal surface at the bone/bone marrow interface. Concentrations of GFP⁺/anti-GFP⁺ cells from TET-GFP were witnessed at the endosteal surface, one of the proposed HSC niches. The yellow box in the merged image is magnified below to more clearly show a cluster of double positive cells.
