Peningkatan Aktivitas Peserta Didik Menggunakanmetode Demonstrasi pada Pembelajaranmatematika di Sekolah Dasar

This study aims to improve learning activities using demonstration method. The method used in this research is descriptive method, the type of research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) and the nature of research that is collaborative. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques. The research was conducted during the second cycle with the results obtained by the learning activity with a mean cycle I 32,15% average physical activity, mental activity of 37,50%, 30,36% emotional activity, with good teaching skills category. For the second cycle, physical avtivity 67,86%, 73,64% mental activity, emotional activity 66,08%. From the data obtained it can be concluded increased lerning activities in each cycle, at the end of the cycle of learning activities students categorized as high. This research using method demonstration in mathematics learning can improve student learning activity Public Elementary School fouth grade 37 Raya river and improve the ability of teachers in the process of learning mathematics
