Kaplan-Meier Plot of Survival for BRCA1 transcript expression in melanoma tumours.

<p>Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to plot cumulative survival versus weeks of survival (after first diagnosis) by high or low <i>BRCA1</i> transcript expression as determined by above or below the median value respectively. Low <i>BRCA1</i> expression was significantly related to poor survival with an average of 260.4±47.9 weeks survival compared to 453.9±77.5 weeks for high <i>BRCA1</i> expression (p = 0.02).
