UL76 induces expression of IL-8.

<p>A) Luciferase activity was measured in 293T cells co-transfected with pcDNA3 or pcDNA3HA-UL76, IL-8 luciferase reporter and β-Galactosidase plasmid at 28 h–30 h post-transfection. Luciferase activity was normalized to β-Galactosidase activity as a control for transfection efficiency. Data are expressed as means ± SD of triplicate wells from one of three similar experiments.
