The long insert of CMPK (orange) significantly increases the surface between CORE and NMP-domain. The single <i>cis</i>-proline of each protein is colored in red. While the position of this residue within a flexible region is conserved between UMPK and AMPK, it is shifted to a hinge-region in case of CMPK.</p
