A cluster of Gbp proteins on mouse chromosome 3 provides cell-autonomous resistance to <i>C. trachomatis</i> infections.

<p>(<b>A</b>) WT and <i>Gbp^chr3−/−</i> MEFs were either treated overnight with 200 U/ml of IFNγ or left untreated and subsequently infected with <i>C. trachomatis</i> for 24 h. Bacterial burden was assessed by qPCR as described in Methods and Materials. Data are representative of three independent experiments.
