Rescue of neuromast formation in <i>p75</i> and <i>TROY</i> morphants by injection of <i>dkk1b</i> mRNA.

<p>Zebrafish embryos were co-injected with <i>p75</i>-MO or <i>TROY</i>-MO and full-length <i>dkk1b</i> mRNA (including the 5′- and 3′-UTR). Neuromast formation in the PLL system was subsequently examined by 4-Di-2-ASP staining at 72 hpf. The percentage of <i>p75</i> and <i>TROY</i> morphants with neuromast number >10 in PLL system are presented as the mean ± SD and analyzed by unpaired Student's <i>t</i>-test from at least three independent experiments. *indicates significant difference compared with the respective controls (P<0.05). MO and <i>dkk1b</i> mRNA dosages used are indicated.
