Detection of viral particles during cellular entry.

<p>Purified and DiO-labeled rVSV-ANDV (left) or VSV-(G) (right) where bound to Vero E6 cells at 4°C for 90 minutes pretreated for 24 hours with DMSO (A) or 40 µM PF-429242 (B). Cells were subsequently washed with cold PBS and fixed immediately (‘0 min’), or following a 20 minute incubation at 37°C, with paraformaldehyde. Cellular membranes where counterstained Wheat Germ Agglutinan-647 and imaged using confocal microscopy. Internalized virus is indicated with an arrowhead.
