<p>The LHS parameter sets varied and the offset () in the power law kernel, as described in the main text. We illustrate which parameter sets significantly affected the peak incidence at different resolutions by the colour of the point. The colour indicates the percentage change between the two points of lowest resolution and the two points of highest resolution, the colour-bar scale runs from 0% to 40%. Some parameter sets gave higher peak incidence at high resolution than low resolution (around −3% change), these were assumed to be caused by stochasticity as the number of runs was relatively small (10 repeats); the change for these was fixed at 0%.
