Eyedrop vaccination of mOMVs and waaJ-mOMVs resulted in both systemic and mucosal immune responses.

<p>Groups of BALB/c mice received 10 µg of the mOMVs or waaJ-mOMVs resolved in 5 µl PBS or PBS by eyedrop on both eyes twice at a 2-week interval. mOMVs and waaJ-mOMVs-specific antibody titers were measured by ELISA in serum and in various mucosal secretions at 2 weeks after final vaccination.
