<p>The kinetic parameters were calculated by fitting the initial velocities toward 0.25–10 mm substrate in the presence of 0.1–2.0 mm P<sub>i</sub> using the following theoretical equation for a sequential Bi Bi mechanism (using GraFit Version 7.0.3): <i>v</i> = <i>k</i><sub>cat</sub>[E]<sub>0</sub>[A][B]/(<i>K</i><sub>iA</sub><i>K</i><sub>mA</sub> + <i>K</i><sub>mA</sub>[B] + <i>K</i><sub>mB</sub>[A] + [A][B]), where A is the substrate and B is P<sub>i</sub>. <i><sup>a</sup></i> Not detectable.</p><p>The kinetic parameters for the phosphorolytic reactions catalyzed by Teth514_1788 and Teth514_1789.</p
