<p>The phosphorylation levels of myosin regulatory light chain (MRLC) in C2C12 cells stimulated by 12% compression was detected by western blotting. Mono-phosphorylated MRLC (Ser19) is expressed as 1P-MRLC, and di-phosphorylated (Thr18/Ser19) is 2P-MRLC. Cells without compression were used as a control, and the compressed cells were analyzed at 0.5, 1, 3, and 5 minutes (A) and 5, 15, and 30 minutes (B) after compression. The levels of 1P-MRLC, 2P-MRLC, MRLC and GAPDH were quantified with Image J software.
