Injection of WT neutrophils in <i>Genista</i> mice reduces the otherwise observed monocyte recruitment at the site of <i>L</i>. <i>mexicana</i> inoculation.

<p><i>Genista</i> mice were either inoculated i.d. with 10⁶ metacyclic <i>L</i>. <i>mexicana</i>-DsRed or co-inoculated i.d. with 10⁶ C57BL/6 sorted neutrophils. Ears were recovered 3 days post infection, processed and analyzed by flow cytometry.
