Body weight loss and mortalities in mice infected with viruses derived from different infectious cDNA clones.

<p>A/J mice infected with the indicated viruses were monitored for loss of body weight and mortalities. Body weights measured in grams on days 0, 3, 5, 6, 10, 13 and 14 were plotted. Mean ± SEM values derived from two individual experiments, each involving 6 to 7 animals per group, are shown (left panel). The number of animals that died in each group was noted (n = 11–20 mice per group), and survival curves were then derived using GraphPad Prism 6 software (right panel).
