<p>This experiment was conducted at the Osoogde Law School at York University on September 29th. The experiment was conducted by two groups, one group collected data using a quadrat and the other collected data using a sweep net. The two groups conducted 10 experiments in both unmowed and mowed grass areas. The group with the sweep net used a transect to measure 30ft and then walked along it while trying to catch insects in the sweep net. The group with the quadrat collected data by counting the number of organisms in their quadrat. Four steps were taken from where the quadrat was originally placed and then the quadrat was placed there and the organisms in that area were counted. More organisms were collected in the unmowed areas. </p
