Ssp1 acts upstream of Srk1.

Wild-type, <i>srk1Δ</i> and <i>cmk2Δ</i> cells transformed with pREP1-<i>ssp1</i> were grown in liquid culture cells, either in the absence of thiamine (-B1) or presence of thiamine (+B1) for 3 days. B. Wild-type and <i>wee1Δ</i> cells transformed with pREP1-<i>ssp1</i> were grown in liquid culture cells, either in the absence of thiamine (-B1) or presence of thiamine (+B1) for 3 days. C. Wild-type and <i>ssp1Δ</i> cells transformed with pREP1-<i>cmk2</i> and pREP1-<i>srk1</i> were grown in liquid culture cells, either in the absence of thiamine (-B1) or presence of thiamine (+B1) for 3 days.
