Latitudinally corrected elevation (EC) was used. Species are coded based on the first two letters of the genus and species. A total of 22 unique overstory species were observed with the other category represents species with less than <5% basal area by elevation class. Percent basal area includes live overstory (>2.54 cm dbh) trees. Species codes: PIPO = Pinus ponderosa; PSME = Pseudotsuga menziesii; PIFL = Pinus flexilis; JUSC = Juniperus scopulorum; ABCO = Abies concolor; POTR = Populus tremuloides; PIEN = Picea engelmannii; ABLA = Abies lasiocarpa; PICO = Pinus contorta.</p
