International audienceABSTRACT: Urban ecosystems are expanding worldwide and are often considered as biological deserts. However, environmentally‑friendly management practices may promote the maintenance of urban communities. Such is the case for wild bees (super family Apoideae) with an increasing number of studies reporting relatively diverse bee assemblages in densely urbanized habitats. Here, we report some examples found in the bibliography of cities harbouring relatively diverse bee assemblages, although different methods were used to sample wild bees.
