This article discusses about family law reform in the moslems countries. This study shows that the reform methods are intra-doctrinal and extra-doctrinal reform, regulation and codification. There are three typical of the Islamic law reform in the moslems countries. They are the countries which use the Islamic law as the traditional fiqh, the countries which adopted the west law, and the countries which establish the Islamic law that combine the methods and procedures from the west law. The reform aspects of the Islamic family law in the moslems countries are the limitation the marriage age, the control to the polygamy, court procedure in the divorce, while in the inheritance law there is the wasiat wajibah concept.
