In the boundary area of ground wave propagation, position accuracy in Loran-C system isinfluenced by the factors which are hard to generalize such as the antenna condition or theability of the receiver unit. Therefore, to utilize Loran-C effectively it is necessary for eachship to know the characteristics of the ship\u27s positions which are obtained by Loran-C system.In this study, comparing ship\u27s positions by Loran-C with the regression line of fixedpositions by NNSS, we tried to evaluate the accuracy of Loran-C in the region of the Nanseiislands and the Luzon island.
