All seventeen Goldwater Awardees of the MassBay\u27s Biotechnology program were either former highschool dropouts, single mothers, chronically unemployed, living at or below the poverty line or formerly homeless. This session will demonstrate the power of research-based undergraduate curriculums and the transforming nature of research on nontraditional scholars
