The work begins with a descriptive prologue not only to the motivation which led us to the general subject of this paper, but also to the borders of the adjetival participle concept, and its length and variety in the annotated Tacitu's text. Then, after mentioning the two basic factors that adjust the treated participial function to the petical clichés which, on a large number of cases, materialize it in the refered text, a taxonomic categorical classification is built up in which the mentioned clichés become definite, and carry adjetival participle forms inside each one of the two factors just mentioned.
