The need to stimulate food demand and increase food production was the subject of a special paper included in CTA's Annual Report for 1991. The paper is abridged from a lecture given originally at the University of Leipzig on 'Agricultural production and resource ptotection - a conflict?' by Joachim von Braun Director of Food Consumption and Nutrition Division of the international Food Policy Research Institute in America. CTA has now published this paper as a separate booklet.
