The objective of this research was to examine and analyze whether or not the application of Think-Pair-Share (TPS) type cooperative learning can improve accounting learning achievement on the XI IPS 2 graders of SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar. This research is a classroom action research using the cycle strategy. The subject of this research is a class XI IPS 2 which totaled 30 student. Technique of data collecting is done by testing, observation, documentation, and interviews.
