The study was conducted to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) to increased critical thinking skills of students of class X on Money and bank subject in Mutiara Sandi Baleendah’s Highschool. Using a quasi-experimental research design with nonequivalent pretest form-posttest control group. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 21 with parametric statistics, the average difference test, gain score and effect size calculations. The results showed differences in improvement of critical thinking skills class students experiment with using cooperative learning model TPS higher than the control class students.
