With the rapid traffic laws and the demands of the importance of the strength of evidence of a deed, thus demanding role as a Notary public officials should be able to keep abreast of the law in providing services to people who need it and keep the deeds in him to always be able to provide legal certainty . It is expected that the presence of a notary deed authentic will provide legal certainty for the parties and as evidence of the strongest and fullest . Along with the modern world , the public is increasingly aware of the need for the agreements made by the parties authentically made to ensure legal certainty and as strong evidence in the future. Thus it can be understood that the existence of the office of notary public is very important and needed extensive , considering the function of the notary is a General Officer who makes written evidence in the form of an authentic deed . Issues to be discussed in this study is whether the notary first freed from criminal responsibility in running the office. Second , how is the imposition of criminal sanctions against the notary who commit criminal acts in the run position ?
