Pengaruh Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Bermain Peran Terhadap Kemampuan Berbicara Dan Kreativitas Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

This research aims at investigating the effect of the implementation of role-play learning method on speaking competency and creativity of students in learning Bahasa Indonesia. This research used quasi experimental with the nonequivalent control group design. 62 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja were chosen as the sample. The data were collected using speaking competency test and creativity questionnaire. The data were analyzed using MANOVA. The result of the research shows that: (1) there is a significant difference of speaking competency between students following role-play learning method and those following conventional learning method in Bahasa Indonesia course, (2) there is a significant difference of creativity between students following role-play learning method and those following conventional learning method in Bahasa Indonesia course, (3) simultaneously, the speaking competency and creativity of students following role-play learning method is significantly better than those following conventional learning method in Bahasa Indonesia course
