Sexuality of People with Intellectual Disabilities - Professional Approach of Specialists

The bachelor's thesis deals with the sexual life of people with intellectual disabilities. It explains the basic concepts of sexuality, the development of sexual behavior, and the focus on the possibilities of protection. It focuses on working with sexuality within an organization. This is also complemented by the practical part which comprises the transcripts of interviews with the management of three institutions and the interview with a sexual assistant as another essential pillar of the thesis. Intimate and Sexual Assistance as a new method of physical and mental satisfaction for mentally handicapped people. Furthermore, the principles of access to sexuality, boundaries and culture of work with the client and the methodology of correct genital nomenclature are recorded.
