Sexuality of Disabled People in District Olomouc

The central theme of the thesis is the sexuality of disabled people in district Olomouc. The work consists of theoretical and analytical parts. Theoretical part firstly introduces the most important concepts including sex and sexuality, disability and types of disabilities, which clients can have. Other important chapter focuses on the specifics of sexual life, sexuality and sex restrictions due to the type of client's disability. The thesis introduces sexual specifics of people with different disabilities as sensory impairment, physical impairment, internal and mental disabilities. The next chapter focuses on the help and support in social work. The chapter focuses on social counselling, public education about sexuality, interventions, group work and options of support. The chapter also presents concrete methods of work, and especially individual institutions which are active in this area in district Olomouc.
