The waste of coal after its USAge as source of new energy is known as fly ash, which is recently available abundantly. One of efforts in using this waste material is as an additive in paving block industry. This research presents the efficiency of fly as an additive material of paving block at optimum mix composition regarding the paving block compressive strength. Based on the research results it is concluded that by adding 10 %, 20%,30 %, 40 %, 50% and 60 % of fly ash with Portland Cement or PC volume could increase the paving block compressive strength. The optimum result was achieved at 33,29 % of fly ash addition with mix composition of 1 PC: 0,3329 FA: 5 sand or PS. The compressive strength of this composition was 15,54 MPa or 4,25 MP...
