PENINGKATAN KUALITAS Anthurium hookeri MELALUI PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK

Anthurium hookeri is one of a commercial ornamental plant in Indonesia. People like A. hookeri because of its beauty color and leaf form. However A. hookeri has slow growth and lack of quality enhancement, which need to be supported with adding the appropriate organic fertilizer. The organic fertilizer has complex nutrient for plant growth development and plant quality enhancement. This research was to know the effect of applying organic fertilizer for A. hookeri’s quality enhancement and A. hookeri’s growth. This research was a factorial experiment Randomized Completely Block Design which consisted two factors and repeated three times. The first factor was A. hookeri variety, which consist of red A. hookeri and green A. hookeri. The second factor was kind of organic fertilizer which consists of compos fertilizer, liquid organic fertilizer, goat manure and cow manure. Data analysis was tested with F test followed with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) in 5% ratio. The result of this study showed that applying organic fertilizer was able to increased A. hookeri’s quality enhancement, and gave the effect on A. hookeri’s growth. The best color, which is score 4 (dark green), is got with applying goat manure and cow manure. Compos fertilizer increase leaf area in both of variety A. hookeri, 7,67 cm2 for red A. hookeri and 22,43 cm2 for green A. hookeri. Applying goat manure and cow manure in red A. hookeri is got the most number of chlorophyll (33,67), but the most number of chlorophyll in green A. hookeri is got with applying cow manure (34,00)
