PENGARUH LATIHAN KONTINYU SENAM DIABETES INDONESIA DALAM MENURUNKAN KADAR GULA DARAH PADA PENDERITA DIABETES MELLITUS

This research aims at investigating the effects of continuous Indonesian Diabetes exercise towards the decrease of blood sugar levels on the people suffering from Diabetes Millitus. This is an experimental research study using the pre-test post-test group design. The population of this research involved people suffering from diabetes mellitus who were the members of the diabetes mellitus fitness program in RSUP dr. Sardjito, Yogyakarta. There were 15 participants involved in this research as the samples. To take blood samples, the researcher used One Touch BASIC Plus Life Scan 2000, made in USA. The results show that the levels of blood sugar decreased as the result of continuous Indonesian Diabetes exercise. The stressor of the exercise could stimulate the decrease of blood sugar levels (pre-test) in the average of 38,8 mg/100ml
