The present study examined racial/ethnic identity attitudes, career maturity, and life role salience in Black and Asian American college students. Multivariate analyses of variance and canonical correlation analyses were used to explore the associations among these variables. Among Black Americans, significant relationships were found between racial identity attitudes and several life role salience domains. In the Asian American sample, cultural identity attitudes were significantly related to several career maturity domains. The findings are discussed in terms of their implications for the career development of Black and Asian Americans
