Survey were co-hosts. The business meetings and technical programs were held at Georgetown University's Hall of Nation's Room in the Walsh Build-ing. On October 25, 1962 the business meeting was called to order by Chairman, Wilbur I. Duvall at 9:15 A.M. Mr. Duvall introduced the Very Reverend Edward J. Bunn, S. J., President of Georgetown who gave a wel-coming add'ness in behalf of the University. The business meeting was then continued with the reading of committee reports. Mr. David E. Willis reported that the minutes of the 1961 meeting at Xavier University were published in Earthquake Notes, Vol. 32, No. 3-4, pp. 17-21. A motion was made and passed that the minutes be accepted as published. The report of the Treasurer was given by Mr. Carl A. von Hake. The assets as of October 23, 1962 were reported as 81784.91. A motion was made, seconded and passed that the Treasurer's Report be accepted as read. The Treasurer also reported that the Eastern Section had a net gain of 12 members during the year and that the present member-subscriber list totaled 448.
