The first 80 pages of this report describe procedures used in assembling, cataloging, and annotating a large group of instructional materials used in educational research, development, and diffusion trainin; programs. This section also compares the characteristics of the materials and outlines procedures used in izprovirg four of them which were selected as exemplars for further development. A 300-page appendix contains a sul,ject index and annotations of the 327 materials collected. Each annotation details title, author, topical focus, purpose, descriptieln, restrictions on use, and geheral character (such as textual material, test, slifles).
