The purpose of this research is to solve some problems with the opti-mal control approach to the design of moving flight simulators. A tracking model of the optimal washout filter is applied in the human vestibular sen-sation system. It can efficiently limit the translational motion of the plat-form and also generate sustained acceleration. The simulation results dem-onstrate that we can minimize the difference between the physiological outputs of the vestibular organs of the actual system and the simulator plat-form system.
