This demonstration shows parts of the Ambient Wood expe-rience project which has taken place in an English woodland setting during the past year. The project provides a play-ful learning experience for schoolchildren on a digitally en-hanced field trip. A WiFi network was installed in the woods to enable communication with PDAs and a collection of in-novative devices was designed to aid interactive exploration of the woods. Most of the devices that were employed are available for conference attendees to use along with a facil-itator’s terminal. A video of the schoolchildren using the devices in the woodland is also shown
