Writing analog models to use with different circuit simulators is still a problem. The paper describes a solu-tion reaching simulator independence on C++ language source code level using an object-oriented model implementation. A simulator dependent part is separated from the model implementations being inde-pendent from the model. The features of the simulator model coupling are described in general and with the example of the SPICE3 implementation.
