Office: 5138 BRNG Course Description: This course explores a variety of current legal, political, social, cultural and economic issues as they relate to educational policy and decision making. Selected knowledge, performances and dispositions from the Indiana Professional Standards Board (IPSB) Standards #6 and #8 for district level administrators are addressed in this course. Emphasis is on the integration of theory and practice. Course Objectives: A scientist-practitioner model of professional preparation is practiced in the Department of Educational Studies within the College of Education.
