I am grateful to all the people who participated in the field survey as well as took time to give interviews for their valuable time and information. I would especially like to thank Mr Dilip Shah, President, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA) and Mr. Homi Bhabha, Secretary, Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI) for helping to arrange meetings with local and international pharmaceutical firms.
